A contact is made in seconds now and forgotten just as fast. What has become rare is the evening where you sit at the same table for four hours and afterwards actually know who you spoke to.
What we do
A private club that meets around wine: a handful of bottles, one table, an evening that runs long. The circle stays small and is put together rather than filled up.
People come in on a recommendation. That is not a pose, it is the only filter that works for this format – who sits at the table decides what the evening is worth.
My part
I built the platform: the site, the member area, the calendar the evenings are announced in before anything goes out. Deliberately spare – whoever is invited already knows what this is.
And the evenings themselves, from the room to the bottles on the table, along with the brand: name, design, tone. Very little of it points outwards, and that is the point.
Why the room matters
The rest of my work happens through screens. Software, automation, advice that works remotely – and precisely because of that I noticed how much an evening is worth where nobody can be clicked away.
A network is built in minutes now and forgotten in the same time. Four hours at one table are not. The wine is the reason to come; what stays is the conversation afterwards.
